Investigating Gaps and Opportunities: young people's access to IT in Australia (2000)

This report is the result of an audit conducted as the first stage of the Foundation's BYTE IT program. The audit took place in early 2000 to assess the current situation regarding young people’s use of, and access to, information technology in Australia. The audit results were used to inform the development of a three-year program to redress the gap between information rich and information poor among Australia’s young people, with particular focus on disadvantaged young people.
