The Foundation’s Volunteers

The Foundation engages a large volunteer network who undertake a variety of activities supporting The Foundation’s vision including grant-making, community networking, providing strategic direction.

The Foundation is committed to involving young people in a meaningful way in everything we do as an organisation, as well as ensuring that young people have a genuine role in the development and implementation of the initiatives we invest in.

The Foundation’s volunteers come from across Australia, and many are under 25.  Volunteers participate in training and receive on-going support for their role.  This approach ensures that young people are making the decisions about where The Foundation funds are spent and are building their skill base at the same time.
